Donations Policy

  4. We will have systems in place to track and report on the use of donated funds, including budgeting software or accounting software and regular updates and reports to donors and stakeholders.
  5. We will be transparent in our financial reporting and make our financial records, including budget and financial reports, available to the public upon request.
  6. We will regularly review and assess our financial needs and allocate resources accordingly, with the goal of maximizing the impact of our efforts.
  7. In addition to donated funds, we will also seek out additional funding sources, such as grants or corporate sponsorships, to support our programs and services.
  8. We will engage with the community and stakeholders to get feedback on our programs and services and to identify areas for improvement, and foster strong relationships with partner organizations and other stakeholders to create opportunities for collaboration and mutual support.


Please note that sponsorships are different from donations. Donations are given with no expectation of anything in return, while sponsorships may involve a financial or in-kind contribution in exchange for certain benefits or exposure.

Career Grant Program Policy

The Go Heroes Career Grant Program is designed to support veterans, first responders, and other heroes in their efforts to gain certifications and advance their careers.

To be eligible for a grant from Go Heroes, individuals must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a veteran, first responder, or other hero as defined by Go Heroes
  • Complete the application on the Go Heroes website
  • Be approved by the Go Heroes Grant Committee
  • Demonstrate financial need
  • Meet any other criteria as determined by Go Heroes


Grants may be used to cover the costs of certification or career training programs, including tuition not covered by programs such as the GI Bill, fees, and materials. Grants may not be used for personal expenses or other non-approved purposes.

If an individual receiving a grant does not meet the terms of the grant agreement, including completing the certification or career training program, they may be required to repay all or a portion of the grant. The terms of repayment will be determined on a case-by-case basis and will take into consideration the individual’s ability to pay.

Grant recipients must agree to the following terms as a condition of receiving the grant:

  • Complete the certification or career training program within a specified timeframe
  • Provide documentation of enrollment and progress in the program
  • Participate in any required follow-up activities, such as providing updates on their career progress
  • Commit to volunteering for Go Heroes for a timeframe that is meaningful to the applicant
  • Agree to any other terms as determined by Go Heroes


Grants are subject to funds availability and not guaranteed.

Sponsorship Policy

Go Heroes Inc. is grateful for the support of our sponsors, who help us to further our mission and achieve our goals. We have developed the following policy to guide our relationship with sponsors and the use of sponsorship funds:

  1. Sponsorship funds may be used for specific programs or initiatives, if designated by the sponsor.
  2. If a sponsor does not designate a specific use for the sponsorship funds, they will be added to our general fund and used to support our programs operations, and services in the most effective way possible.
